Identifies conflicting issues presented by different faiths in Britain today. Considers personal beliefs and how to constructively address difference. Activities include: debate, quiz, personal testimony, thought provokers, follow-on ideas and research. Duration              50-60mins

Examining, debating and refining current attitudes toward immigrants  in Britain. Activities include: dialogue, thought provokers, conflict resolution, follow-on ideas and research. Duration               50-60mins

Improving Emotional Intelligence

Identifying and developing emotional intelligence. Considers the difference between being smart or clever and being emotionally wise. The limitations of conventional academic measurements of intelligence like IQ  becomes apparent. Activities include: thought provokers, an emotional intelligence test, solving emotional scenarios and developing positive self-talk. Duration             50-60mins

Suitable for KS2

Healthy Eating

This workshop uniquely combines cultural diversity with healthy eating. Children and staff are introduced to new cultural foods, with demonstrations showing how they are prepared and get to taste them at the end. The cooking demonstration is accompanied by interesting information about these foods as healthy alternatives.  Cultural foods and eating come alive in a real way for children and staff with valuable insights into another culture.

This workshop is suitable for EYFS to KS5 and Family Learning.
